I’m in the hack to take my throw,

An open hit, not hard.

I’m light and wide, and where it sits

Gives them a perfect guard!

Curling’s such a frustrating game,

What am I doing here?

I’m hopeless and can’t make a shot.

I won’t come back next year.

The other skip then makes her throw,

It guards the shot rock more,

A little port is left for me,

If missed we’ll give up four!

I take my slide and throw my rock,

I think it may stop short.

The sweepers sweep with all their might!

It curls right through the port!

What a great shot, we’ve won the game,

My team gives a big cheer!

Curling is great, this is such fun!

I can’t wait for next year!
