Have you ever wanted to try curling? Are you looking to host a unique corporate event, bonspiel or fundraiser? East York Curling Club is available for group rentals!

We offer 6 sheets of ice with a licensed lounge and the necessary equipment to meet your curling needs. Sheets are rented in two hour time slots, with the exception of Saturdays, which are booked in half or full-day blocks. Each sheet can hold a maximum of 8 people. We have wonderful coaches to help you play and enjoy the game - no experience required!

Please note: all rentals are permitted through the City of Toronto. Prices are subject to change.

Pricing

* If you require 1 hour instruction, the cost is $50.00 per instructor with one instructor per sheet. This must be arranged with the office in advance. 

Bar & Kitchen Service

Bar Service is available starting at 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at no additional charge. Service before 5:30 pm, on Fridays during the day, and on Saturdays require a deposit of $200.00 upon entry to the club in the form of a credit card. If over $200.00 is sold, no fee will be charged. If sales are under $200.00, the difference will be charged to the permit holder. Outside non alcoholic beverages are permitted if opting out of bar service. Bar Service can be arranged directly with the office.

Coffee and hot beverages are available for $1.00 per drink. For unlimited coffee and hot beverages, the fee is $50.00 for a partial day or $100.00 for a full day. This must be arranged with the office.

Kitchen Service is available through Mark Gibbons Catering at the club. Chef Mark can be reached at foodservice@eastyorkcurling.ca once your event is booked to arrange for catering or a la carte services. At present we do not allow for outside caterers to operate in the club and we do not permit buffet style service. Outside food is permitted but must be confirmed with the office in advance.

Covid-19 Requirements

Each group will be required to check proof of vaccinations and complete contact tracing for their group. A doctor's note is required for anyone with a valid medical exemption. All of the above records must be kept for a minimum of 30 days after the permit date. 

Participants will be required to wear a mask at all times unless in the ice shed and while seated at a table having food and beverage. Everyone must also maintain 6 feet of distance at all times unless seated at a table having food and beverage.

Groups must adhere to the posted capacity limits for each area of the club at all times. 

Participants should fill out the provincial online assessment tool in advance of coming to the club. Any person showing signs or symptoms of Covid-19 or anyone over the age of 12 not fully vaccinated or without a valid medical exemption, should not be permitted entry to the club.
