About Our Leagues
This league plays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday mornings. It is a co-ed competitive league comprised of twelve teams. Skips are designated and a draft takes place in late September or early October to determine team members. League play starts in October and finishes in March with play-offs to follow. The league has operated for more than 30 years and many of the league curlers are associated with the Balmy Beach Club. However, applications can be made for membership in the league and names will be put into the draft when space becomes available.
This league curls on Fridays at 10:00 am (disc draw).

We are a league of active teachers, retired teachers and people kindly disposed to teachers who curl each Monday afternoon from 3:45 to 5:45. We welcome both experienced and new curlers, and both team entries and individual entries.
This is a draft league which plays on Wednesdays at 4:30 PM.
Friendly group of players and is open to all age groups and abilities. Come out and enjoy the fun!
We curl Wednesday evenings from 4:30 until 6:30. The league was established in 1958 and many of our members curl once week.
We have various levels of skill.

The Toronto Teachers Curling League (TTCL) curls on Fridays at 4:30 pm and is open to curlers of all ages and skill levels. First established as a rental league with a long histroy at EYCC, we joined the club as a regular club league in 2018. Many of our team members are current and retired teachers/education workers, however we do have many who have no connection to education. We welcome anyone, teachers or otherwise to our league. We are not seriously competitive, but are curlers who just enjoy the game, the fun and comraderie that comes with the sport. Come join us!
This league plays on Sundays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (thus the "Sinners") and is an open format league. Both new curlers and experienced curlers of all abilities are welcome. This is an excellent league for spouses and/or friends, especially those who know a curler and are curious about what it is like to be part of a league. The Sunday Sinners put as much emphasis on the social aspects of the game as they do on competitiveness.
The Sunday Brooms League is a curling community that embraces players of all levels. Our open format league features two round robins, providing the opportunity to meet and compete against every team. We engage in a tiered three-week playoff that adds a touch of friendly competition. Showcase your skills, celebrate your progress, and appreciate the camaraderie that defines our league. Events include two banquets, the Broomspiel, and a summer golf weekend! Join us every Sunday from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM for a relaxed and enjoyable curling experience.
The Sunday Open League is a league of up to 12 teams, and open to teams composed of any combination of genders.
The season begins in mid-October, and finishes in mid-April.
Games start at 5 pm on Sundays.
Applicants may apply as individuals, partial or full teams.

Sign up as an individual - 12 teams / 48 players in a fun, non-competitive, and supportive environment designed for those new or newish to curling, new to EYCC, or new to playing back end positions. The league drawmasters will mix the teams up each draw.
The Saturday Scramble league is a fun league for curlers of all experience levels! Think of it like a tag draw; each game you get teamed up with new people just before you head on the ice. It will be a surprise for all! Position requests will be taken into account when scrambling teams so it's a great opportunity to get some no-stress, fun, experience in new roles. Games happen bi-weekly(ish) from 6:45pm - 8:45pm with 7 games per session. The Fall Session dates are listed below.

December: 7th, 21st
The Saturday Scramble league is a fun league for curlers of all (or no) experience levels! Think of it like a tag draw; each game you get teamed up with new people just before you head on the ice. It will be a surprise for all! Position requests will be taken into account when scrambling teams so it's a great opportunity to get some no-stress, fun, experience in new roles. Games happen bi-weekly(ish) from 6:45pm - 8:45pm with 7 games per session. The Winter Session dates are listed below.

This league plays on Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. This is a disc draw league. Each day of curling, the teams are created just prior to the start of the game. This friendly group welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Come out & enjoy the camaraderie!
Tuesday Mixed League curls every Tuesday evening. Game times alternate each week between an early game and a late game.
Each of the 24 teams may be comprised of any combination of male, female, or non binary curlers as long as the same gender category does not thow consecutively in the order.
The season begins in mid-October, and finishes in late April. Teams have 2 hours to play up to 8 ends. Teams are grouped into divisions based on their skill levels, and the divisions are adjusted several times during the season.
Applicants may apply as individuals, couples, or full teams.

The season begins in mid-October, and finishes in late April. Each week, teams play a 2-hour game lasting up to 8 ends. Teams are grouped into divisions based on their skill levels, and the season culminates in a playoff round that crowns division champions.
Applicants may apply as individuals, couples or full teams. New and experienced curlers are all welcome!

Our Day Women’s League curls on Mondays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Whether you are retired, work from home, a stay-at-home mother, or simply need a break from your zoom meetings and the household hub bub, this is a wonderful way to meet new friends, exercise and have fun. This league is focused on providing a fun social environment with a sprinkling of competitiveness from our seasoned skips - they do like to win! We encourage our members to try new team positions, develop their curling skills and constantly strive for a better game. New curlers are encouraged to join us and benefit from the help and assistance of our members who are willing to share their curling knowledge. For the experienced curler, this is a great league to hone your skills, strategy, perfect your take outs and draw weight. Sign up as an individual and the league will match you to a team based on experience and position. We will try to honour any specific requests.
This league curls on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 PM & 9:00 PM on a rotating basis.
The mission of the EYCC Women’s Section is to create a positive and supportive environment that fosters friendship, enjoyment and sportsmanship, while working to improve our curling ability and increase our love of the game. We welcome experienced and new curlers, single entries or teams. Our annual league events include: the Ladies Bonspiel, Championship Night and legendary banquet.
This league plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a disc draw league. Each day of curling, the teams are created just prior to the start of the game.
This 12 team league plays on Mondays from 8:15 pm to 10:15 pm. We typically play a regular season of 18-19 games, and a 4 week playoff bracket. At the start of playoffs, all teams are eligible to win the championship. The level of play ranges from "still developing" to "competitive". Although our league does not play against the Thursday Men's league, many players play in both leagues, and we all have a good time at the same banquet at the end of the season!
This 24 team league plays on Thursdays from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm & 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm on a rotating basis. Although our league does not play against the Monday Men's league, many players play in both leagues, and we all have a good time at the same banquet at the end of the season!
The East York Little Rocks (U12) Program is for children ages 7 to 11 years old who want to learn and play the sport of curling! We welcome newcomers to the sport as well as experienced curlers. Our season runs from October to March/April. We typically hold our first practice after Thanksgiving weekend and end our season in late March or early April. Practices are held on Sundays from 1:15 pm to 2:45 pm. We take the occasional Sunday off and there is a break during the December holidays. A practice schedule will be provided in the first few weeks of the program. Curlers must provide their own helmet. A bicycle, hockey, skating or snowboard/skiing helmet is appropriate. The Juniors (ages 12 to 21) curl Sundays from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm and is open to all interested curlers, new, experienced and competitive! All new members to the program are required to bring and wear head protection with all other equipment available upon request. We have a group of experienced and enthusiastic coaches who are looking forward to passing on their curling wisdom!
New to curling? Join this 4-week beginner development league that runs Saturday mornings from 9am-10:30am where you will work on individual and game skills in a fun and supportive environment. This league will run in parallel to your regular league and is designed to help you to improve your skills and pick up the game faster. There will lots of opportunity to ask questions about the game, plus a chance to meet more of your fellow curlers. Meant for first- and second-year curlers who are registered for an EYCC league in the 2024-25 season.
League Requirements: first- or second-year curler. At least one game or a Learn to Curl prior to the first session.
This type of membership allows members to come and socialize at the East York Curling Club. There are no other privilages with this membership.
